emigrated from Greece to Canada, bringing with them the richness of their old world
culture and traditions. As children of immigrant parents, we were raised in a new world
with the tales and customs of our ancestors, forever etched in our memories.
Our father's passion for gardening and our mother's skill in the kitchen were just two of
the many things that shaped us and our values. They instilled in us a deep love of
family, the importance of hard work, and the value of sharing food and culture with
others. But in 2003, when our father passed away, we were left questioning the
meaning of life and the legacy we wanted to leave behind.
Driven by a desire to honor our family and create something that we could share with
the world, we turned to the land and the olive groves of Avdira Greece. It was there that
we found our calling and our purpose, crafting a product that is a true reflection of our
family, our values, and our culture. And it was there that we found our inspiration for the
name of our product, Kristinas, in honor of the newest member of our family at the time.

the production process, from the olive grove to the mill. Frank Iakovidis' Mechanical
Engineering degree and Ted Iakovidis' Refrigeration Mechanic Degree have been
instrumental in their ability to produce olive oil that is of the highest quality. They use
their knowledge of machinery, equipment, and temperature control to ensure that every
bottle of Kristinas Extra Virgin Olive Oil is produced to the highest standards. Our olive
